I was born in Quequén, Argentina in 1977 and grew up in Necochea, both small cities separated by a river. I am an adopted child, something that awakened multiple curiosities regarding the body, heredity, expression, symbiosis, change and movement.
Until the age of 17 I lived in this coastal city in the province of Buenos Aires. I am the youngest sister of four adopted children. My father’s family was of Scottish descent and my mother’s was Danish and Italian-Creole. For me, identity was something I felt the need to recapture, or build. The figure of the tree presented itself.
